North Star’s millwrights offer a disciplined approach to identifying problems, assessing options, and detailing solutions and costs. We assign a lead millwright to each project to oversee customers’ overhaul and repair projects, becoming familiar with their equipment, processes and culture. We work on assembly lines, pumping stations, print shops and at all other industries where fixed heavy machinery is in place and in need of attention.

Both a millwright (L) and plant manager (R) inspect a gear reducer which is later to be disassembled, have all bearings replaced, and re-assembled.

North Star Technical’s millwrights carefully replace the old bearings on this large pinion shaft, which is a key component in the manufacturing process of lime products.

North Star Technical’s millwrights use a 300 ton Horizontal press to remove a pin on a large “J” hook. The “J” hook is used for producing steel.
